Mary Beth Printsky, d/b/a MB LaBelle Photography, is a "racetrack brat" whose father, "Jock" LaBelle, was a well-known Recreation Director at various racetracks along the East Coast. She has been photographing horses since 1973 when she photographed Secretariat during an early morning workout at Saratoga Racecourse in Saratoga Springs, NY. Mary Beth, a 1974 Journalism graduate of SUNY Morrisville, Morrisville, NY, still lives in the Saratoga Springs, NY area. In 1999 she produced her own poster with the cooperation of the New York Racing Association entitled "Under the Elms at Saratoga". A former rider of Morgan horses in Western Pleasure classes, Mary Beth now rides for fun. She also volunteers with Equability, a riding program that allows people with disabilities the opportunity to ride and interact with horses and other animals. Mary Beth lives with her husband, Mark and Flasher, a basenji. Her work also includes photographing other animals and children. Mary Beth has had her work published by several companies and one of her photos of a "laughing" quarter horse will be published in a greeting card by Leanin' Tree, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado in their 2002 International catalogue. Farm shoots are her specialty and Mary Beth can be hired for personal and promotional work. She can be contacted at e-mail for further information.
