Vermont Quarter Horse Association's ranch horse versatility show This year it's held at Sandy Hill Quarter Horses in Fort Ann, NY. Please be aware that we have open JACKPOT classes for all breeds of horses & all age riders that will payback 50% of the entry fee based on a sliding scale. See the class list for complete details on that. There also are green rider classes for those wishing to try out ranch horse classes which are also open to all breeds of horses & all age riders. For the AQHA classes, they are all age; divided by open, amateur, novice amateur and youth classes are available. The pace of the trail ride is the choice of the rider group. Horse and rider are measured against a set standard as they negotiate each judged obstacle. Plus, test your horsemanship skills further with an optional Versatility Obstacle Challenge Course! Great fun to watch too! Awards will be given for the top pledge raisers, highest in divisions, pace pickups, and other creative categories with many spectacular prizes from some great sponsors!
