Horse powered farming, gathering eggs, milking goats, learning about caring for llamas, burros, cows, chickens, pot bellied pigs, pygmy goats and dairy goats. Campers will do quality crafts with durable and useful items to take home.
We have a resident blacksmith who forges with iron, makes our open pit cooking utensils and will teach older kids how to work with a coal forge and iron.
Old time fiddlers will provide music after an old fashioned hay ride. It will be a real country hoedown!
Period costumed story tellers will recant tales from the 1800's...of course there will be a good old fashioned ghost story or two!
Depending on the week- we will have leather crafts, horse shoers, and other special visitors!
